Fanart of Death from Neil Gaiman's Sandman.

This began 2 years ago as a generic sketch of a generic woman. I got bored of it and left it until early this year... ^^; I picked it up again (after reading Sandman) and tried to go nuts in Painter7 (when it didnt act up).

I like how it turned out ^.^ Inspired by the covers of the graphic novels. Done with a mouse. yeah. I still think the shading of her face is kinda pathetic... TT^TT

If i've not said this before, i shall say it again. I really admire and salute those who master the art of using the mouse to CG... X3 You people are amazing!

if youre thinking about the shading on her face being inadequate, i was thinking that she needed a nose and not just nostrils...yknow what i mean? :)

it reallie good but the face look funnie...a bit flat...maybe because u painted such away it look like the face should be looking up

Well, it's very nice for a drawing CGed with a mouse. :) And I love that style... very Vampire-sque. By the way, the background looks extremely real with that roughness. Good work! :nod:

Excellent work and excellent subject. Death was my favorite from the series.

I've never used anything BUT a mouse when I do cg work. It's hard and it takes sooo long, but it can pay off. At least, in theory. hehe
