Tools :: Painter 7 (oil pastels, airbrush)
Time:: 1 hour
Notes:: Lighting Practice & Speed Paint.

KIIIYYAAAAAAA!!!! Came up with this idea, while in the little panda's room ^^;

I HAAAAATE the shading on Squid =__= It looks REALLY REALLY BAD... TT___TT The light coming from the Nightmare-Creature's eyes are also super lame... Sigh... live and learn... Any tips on lighting you guys might like to share?

I kinda like how the monster turned out however. It was fun mixing the different colors together... Had to make a conscious effort to see what colors and shades would work together...

Actually i really like the coloring and shading in this one. It actually looks like a painting or poster from a 40's-50's horror movie so the style in this is quite unique. Maybe not what you were shooting for but the result was still good, looks like it was painted and not done by CG x3 *that's always a plus in my book*
I also went through the other stuff in your gallery and needless to say i enjoy your work ^___^'' this is deffinately a fav.
