Hi hi lovely people X3 Back for a bit. Hope you're all well.
Really need to practice painting. So I did this.
Entirely done in photoshop. Took about 2 days.
Feels nice actually finishing a picture.
Hope it isn't too dark.
And Ohm's legs were done on purpose like that... translucent and stuff.

This is a practice piece... so crits, comments and other stuff are be appreciated :)
Am not fantastially competent in lighting and color combinations, so professional input wuld be real helpful XD

Oooh very good. Spooky too *makes sure to close window tonight*

Dunno if I can offer any constructive criticism, except -maybe- have moe of the white lines on the window on the left side, cos its getting more moonilght on it than the other...maybe..if that makes sense.

my thoughts by GZ12WK.


the focus seems to be the stars out the window. so viewers eyes tend to wander out the window as well. if you were to thighted up eithor the girl sleeping or Ohm's hesd that would brignthe focus back keeping not only a viewers interest longer but drawing us into the picture more and wanting us to stay.

I love the way you coloured this, Ohm looks really great! The moonlight is beautiful, and really well done! The only things I could really crit would be that to me the sleeping girl seems a little bit flat, she lacks some definition when you compare her to Ohm. I think the compo is great, and that the sky and moon give some good balance to the pic! Really great work, I love it!! :heart:

u really made a good impression of how it would feel like to be in there. the calm night with the moonlight.. @_@ *phew*

ah i think his thighs are a lil short but this is a painting practice... sooooo..i think its irrelevant :XD:
but maaaybe the knee shouldnt be so brightly lit. hmmmm i think. ^^;;;

Oh my god, Psy, this is amazing. Absolutely amazing. The lighting on Ohm is absolutely fantastic, as is the stylization of the moon behind him. Your attention to detail really shows through in this one, especialy with Ohm's varied opacity. I'm spellbound.

No crits, none at all. This is so beautiful, I don't even have the words to describe how much I love it. For some reason it's almost making me cry - not because of sadness, but because the picture just makes me feel so good. Someone else might find the picture scary, with a shadowed guy watching someone sleep, but to me this feels...I don't know, hopeful? Just the thought that someone might be watching over me when I sleep, ready to protect me, makes me feel so happy and so hopeful. :3
Not to mention the execution of the picture - the lighting is so pretty. :heart:

I'll just, um, shut up now. Or something. *does so* :x
